The Lily All Day Bag is a fun introduction to bag making. It doesn’t require any hardware, zippers, or working with a lot of little pieces.
It’s a perfect size for using all day but not too big that everything gets lost in the bottom. The best part is that it’s REVERSIBLE! You’ll have two bags in one to use year round.
You could consider using scraps sewn together to make the larger fabric pieces, orphaned quilt blocks, an old quilt that’s ready for a new life (like I did), yardage in your favorite prints or solids. You could even quilt it or add some special hand stitching. Use your imagination!
